How much and how long are the tours?
The tours cost 175 Euros for up to 4 people and last 3-3 1/4 hours.
How do the tours work?
After you book the tour, we send a confirmation email with our contact information and a place to meet (usually by a metro station). Every tour is slightly different and we will attach a short questionnaire so that we can tailor the tour to your personal preferences. All tours are on foot and in English.
How do I pay?
You can pay by check or credit card through Paypal. A 50-Euro deposit is required upon booking; the 125-Euro balance is due the day of the tour
in cash only.
What about cancellations?
Cancellations are accepted up to one week before; otherwise the 50-Euro deposit is forfeited but may be used for a future tour or transferred to
another person.
What if it's raining?
As they say in the tour business, the tour must go on. Sorry, there are no cancellations in the event of rain, but we will do our best to plan as many indoor activities as we can.
What are the best days for a tour?
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, are the best days, as everything is open and not too crowded. The next choice would be Tuesday, all day or Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon, things get very crowded. Sunday, museums are open but galleries are closed, and most shops are closed except in the Marais district (The Marais district is much like Soho in New York City). If you are interested in visiting food markets, a Sunday morning tour is great because all food markets open till 1PM. Monday, most museums and galleries are closed, and some shops are closed, especially in the Marais.
Do you accept tips?
Our price is inclusive but feel free to tip if you think our service was exceptional.
What if we are more than 4 people?
We can extend our tours to larger groups, so please let us know how many there will be and we can customize a tour for your size group.
